Welp, here we fucking go again. I guess I’m starting a new blog. No idea how frequently I’ll post here, but apparently as an author, this is some shit I’m supposed to have/do? Well, if I must, I must.
Let me lay down some grown rules. There fucking aren’t any. I won’t make any promises about what I write here. It might be personal, it might be about writing and it might be about Dungeons and Dragons. What I will promise, is that I’m going to use foul language. I’m a firm believer in using my entire vocabulary, including expletives.

Now that that’s done, let’s get to the meat of this. My life is a bit of a mess right now. I’m coming off a divorce, getting ready to pack up my house and find a new place to live, working full time selling my soul to my corporate overlords as a graphic designer and trying to manage a relationship. Yeah, I know. Everyone has their shit. This is mine.
As far as my writing goes…I have a novella I’m working on. It’s a space western and the first in what I hope is a new series. It’s called The Dust of Deadwater: A Seamspace Drifter Tale. It follows Rax, a professional gambler who wanders the collection of star systems known as the Balisay Union. He’s come to the tiny moon Nestara IV-B to collect on a debt. Unfortunatley, the local Sheriff, the most notorious bandit in the Union and the mind of a Marshal of the Union all have their own plans for him.
So where is it? The writing is done. The cover is done (I think). Now I’m working on my launch plan. Honestly, this is probably the scariest part.
Yeah, I’ve published three books. I did try to do a sort of launch for Scarlet Angel, but it was pretty ho-hum. Scarlet Raven and Scarlet Phoenix really went out with no fanfair. And I think that was a disservice to those books.
But, this is a whole new game for me. So I’m going to try to put something together.
